Grindelwald, Switzerland

After our exciting adventures in Zermatt, we drove to a quiet little town in Switzerland call Grindelwald. We stayed at a lovely little bed and breakfast that was run by a young married couple up on their farm. It was so peaceful and beautiful there. Every morning for breakfast they had fresh eggs, cheese, milk, and homemade bread. This was definitely a very relaxing part of our trip. We walked around the tiny little town, and took another gondola ride to see the top of the Jungfrau, which is the highest point in Europe. At the top of the mountain we took an amazing zip line down a third of the mountain. It was so high up! Then Craig and I walked the rest of the way down the mountain. We walked right along side dairy cows, which are actually very clean and beautiful animals. We were surprised how much prettier and clean the cows are in Switzerland than in America. Back in town we tried out their local mini golf course, and I am proud to say that I beat Craig! We loved the quietness of Grindelwald, but after two days we decided that we were more of city people and looked forward to going to Zurich.

  1. I would be interested to know the name of the B and B as we are planning to stay in Gindelwald when we visit Switzerland in May.
