Remember Remember the 5th of November.

Remember Remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason should ever be forgot…

It was a historic night in Edinburgh on Friday the 5th.
A little history lesson:
In the 16th century Guy Fawkes was caught in the cellars of the House of Parliament with several dozen barrels of gunpowder. He was sentenced to death for his crime, treason.
It is now an annual custom for the people in Scotland to light off fire works on the 5th to remember never to commit treason on their country.

So Craig and I headed into the city for a fun night filled with fireworks and yummy Scottish Toffee Pudding. Seriously this is the most delicious dessert in the whole world! Craig and I are not the biggest dessert eaters and we are obsessed. We each ordered our own. You MUST try one.

Edinburgh Fire Works!
In honor of Guy Fawkes

This is what craig and I look like after long nights riding the bus into town. It was pouring rain. We are so pale. Not pretty.

We look sick, but here we are on the bus we take into the city every single day.

Sticky Toffee Pudding. Taste like Heaven in your mouth....
